Global Forum for Health Research - India - Forum 9
at The Grand Hyatt, Mumbai

The Global Forum's annual meeting was organized at the invitation of the Ministry of Health of India and in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research and the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health in Mumbai.

Forum 9 brought together around 600 participants from 90 countries. It was opened by the President of India, His Excellency Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, together with the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr A Ramadoss. Major themes were: targeting the poor; health innovations in rapidly developing countries (e.g. India, Brazil, South Africa); neglected diseases and conditions (e.g. mental health, road traffic injuries); equity (including considerations of gender, disability and race in health research); research capacity strengthening; reproduction and development; policies, priorities and resources (including resource flows and assessment tools).

Mediacenter provided Complete Audio Visual Equipment, Support & various other services for this International Conference at The Grand Hyatt, Mumbai - from complete Sound for the special inauguration with the President of India, His Excellency Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, to the various kinds of Branding required (see image above and below), Masked Screens, Projectors, a complete Office Set up (including Networked Computers, Photocopiers, Fax Machines etc.
